Get Involved in LICSPA

LICSPA is a volunteer-driven organization. It is through the dedication and commitment of volunteers that the Association remains a prominent resource for higher education professionals in the Long Island/ NYC region. Professionals who volunteer with the Association play an integral role in the leadership and direction of LICSPA while building their professional resume and network.

Executive Board

Elections are held once a year, in January, for the new Executive Board. The Business Meeting and election process will be advertised via email to all LICSPA membership. The following executive board positions are available each year:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Marketing Director

Conference Committee

In addition to the Executive Board, the annual Conference Committee provides other leadership opportunities for members. All higher education professionals are invited to serve on the committee. Leadership positions available are:

  • Conference Chair
  • Registration Chair
  • Sponsorship Chair
  • Session Proposal Chair
  • Assessment Chair
  • Awards Chair
  • Logistics Chair

2018-2019 Elections will be held on January 9, 2018 at Adelphi University.
